Natural neutralizer for Endosulphan

A study conducted by some Mexican scientists, found that ‘Siva Tulasi’ (oscimum Basilica) have power to neutralize the effects of Endosulphan on soil. It was reported on the‘Journal of hazardous materials’. It was observed that this tulasi has reduced the level of endosulphan in the soil remarkably over the 30 days for which it was observed. It was already found earlier that some plants and bacterias can neutralize the poison content of the soil. But this is a new discovery which could be useful for the victims of endosulphan.
